About The Event

A weekend full-board wellbeing & mindfulness retreat hosted by Clare Jones, Bridget Fitzpatrick, Kate Hayes & Suzanne White.

Prices from £420pp to £520pp.

Our Nutrition Sessions are a mixture of talks and workshops aimed at making sense of the conflicting nutritional advice we are served daily and providing practical strategies that can be applied in our real lives. They are fun and interactive and you are encouraged to ask questions and to contribute to discussions to get the most out of each one. Handouts will be provided for you to take home.

Eating for Energy

In this session Clare will discuss ways of eating to support your energy levels.

Do I Need to Detox?

Should you be detoxing following the excesses of the festive season? Clare discusses the mixed messages in the media.

Healthy Eating in the Real World

Clare will translate all the good advice from the weekend into practical solutions that can be used at home.

Clare and Suzanne will run lunchtime hands-on Easy Eating Workshops on Saturday and Sunday where you will learn how to prepare and create nutritious and healthy food.

Mindfulness is a practical way of changing your life for the better simply by paying attention to what's happening now. The Mindfulness Sessions run by Bridget will offer a range of different practices and introduce the ideas behind them in a straightforward and unstuffy way, including;

Letting Go

To help you relax and unwind on the Friday evening.

Eating Mindfully

How to eat more mindfully, from noticing when you are hungry to preparing, eating & digesting.

Waking up the Body

In this session you will learn how to cultivate mindfulness through movement of the body using some gentle but enlivening mindful exercises based on yoga and qigong.

A Walk with a Difference

A guided Mindfulness walk in the beautiful local Lake District countryside (weather permitting!)

Bedtime Body Scan

Unwind prior to bed with Bridget's mindful body scan technique.

Kate will be available throughout the weekend to provide an array of indulgent Beauty & Holistic Treatments using Neal's Yard Products.

The Retreat menu has been specially created for the weekend and will include fresh and seasonal produce locally sourced wherever possible. Guests nutritional and dietary requirements are always catered for.

This intimate retreat runs from Friday evening through to Sunday afternoon at Bracken Hill. Bracken Hill is located just outside Kendal overlooking beautiful Lake District countryside and is easily accessible by road or by mainline train via Oxenholm Station which has direct links to Manchester and London.

Confirmation of your booking will be made via e-mail on receipt of 30% of the full accommodation charge (which is non-refundable). The full balance should be paid 8 weeks prior to the retreat.
