I’m looking forward to our January Wellbeing Retreat in Kendal and am putting together sessions that I hope will be interesting and informative. I really like to offer practical as well as nutritious advice and our workshop format will enable participants to ask lots of questions.
We’ll be looking at how to eat to support energy levels – especially useful at this time of year or if you’re prone to mid-afternoon slumps. Another seasonal topic that comes up in January every year is to detox, or not to detox? We’ll be looking at what this actually means and whether we should all be doing it.
One of my key aims is to share information that is manageable in everyday lives. We’ll be joining Suzanne in the kitchen for a session of chopping and chatting about ways of making meals more interesting and nutritious, without having to spend hours at the stove. There’ll be a final interactive session when we’ll put together all the ideas we’ve been discussing over the weekend and participants can take away action plans of things they want to try at home.
