Suzanne loves to eat food, cook food and talk about food. She’s been catering on Retreats for over six years and collaborates on Pilates, Yoga, Walking and Wellbeing Retreats in Cumbria. In Manchester Suzanne co-hosts Urban Day Retreats, Brunch and Supper Events. Suzanne specialises in healthy, distinctly seasonal food and creates mouth-watering dishes for all, whether vegetarian, vegan, dairy or gluten free. Where possible local, fresh and season produce is sourced and any nutritional dietary requirements are catered for.
Rikke has been teaching Pilates for many years, specialising in Prenatal and Postnatal classes. After teaching at the Yoga Rooms and other studios, Rikke set up her own studio called Loving Pilates in Didsbury, Manchester. Here she practices Classical Pilates and offers women only classes.
After Rikke had a stroke during her 34th week of her first pregnancy, she experienced first hand how important Pilates can be in rehabilitation. It was during her full recovery that Rikke gained an understanding of the body's mechanics leading to her becoming a Pilates Instructor.
Julia is the founder of La Lune Yoga based in Manchester. Julia teaches both Hatha and Yin Yoga and workshops at The Yoga Rooms in Chorlton, Withington Baths in Didsbury along with other locations. She completed her Yoga Teaching Training (200 hours) in Costa Rica three years ago and hasn’t looked back.
Belle is the founder of Pilates Hub in Monton, Manchester and has been teaching regular and pre/post natal Pilates and Pilates Barre Method since completing her teacher training in 2017. Belle incorporates Fascia Release within her sessions as this has a huge impact on overall health and wellbeing. Belle loves nothing more than seeing her clients leave class with a better understanding of what works for their body.
Kate is a highly experienced therapist with over 20 year’s experience. She has worked in Salons and Spas and now operates a highly successful business from her therapy rooms in Cheshire. Kate has provided treatments on many of our Retreats providing luxury holistic therapies using Neal’s Yard Products to complement our fabulous weekends. Sarah has been running EnergyFlowFitness in Manchester since 2003. The main studio is in Chorlton with a team of professional instructors. There is also a further smaller equipment studio in her holistic garden at High Lane. Sarah is continually studying with a wide range of world renowned teachers and training companies in order to broaden her knowledge. This provides her loyal clients with both fresh and challenging workouts.
Tina is a well–respected interior designer and has run her own company for over 20 years. Recently Tina has transformed Bracken Hill, her childhood home, into a quirky, boutique space which can be booked for holidays or for specialist retreats. Tina is currently putting together an exhibition of her Prints, some of which are on show at Bracken Hill and are available to purchase.
Kirsty 't Kindt
Kirsty's Fitness Pilates classes leaves you feeling a combination of worked and relaxed. She chooses exercises that will challenge your strength always focusing on the principles of Pilates which creates long, lean muscles for tone and functionality. Kirsty has been teaching Pilates for 12 years and has formed her whole career around the power of Pilates, using these techniques in her personal training and helping people who come for massage giving them tips on how to release their tensions using Pilates exercises. Kirsty feels Pilates can literally make people happy!
Marie is a qualified RYT 200 Multi-Style yoga teacher, sharing her love for dynamic movement with creative and expressive flows in Norwich. She completed her training in India in December 2018 and has since then continued to develop as a teacher with various further trainings and workshops. Over the last year she has taught her own monthly Home Practice workshops, inspiring fellow yogis to find their flow daily at home.
Jonny Michael is a yoga instructor teaching Hatha Vinyasa and Yin in Poynton and Alderley Edge. His yoga practice focusses on breath, holding postures for alignment and linking breath to movement making each class both a journey and a great workout.
Jonny began his personal yoga journey initially to improve his body’s strength and flexibility but soon discovered the incredible way yoga connects physical improvements to the mental, emotional and even spiritual wellbeing in a very practical way.
Rebekah is a BANT registered Nutritionist and NMC registered Nurse. Her personal recovery from work related stress and burnout inspired her to help others improve their health through the healing power of food.
Rebekah runs a busy nutrition clinic at Chorlton Health Hub in Chorlton, Manchester. Rebekah provides knowledge, tools and motivation which supports clients to make sustainable dietary and lifestyle changes to improve overall health. Rebekah believes every time we eat we have an opportunity to improve our health
Lucie is a 200hr Independent Yoga Network certified yoga teacher who trained with Studio One Yoga in the North West in 2016. She has also completed a 5 day Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course with Norman Blair in 2018.
Her style of yoga is an Authentic Hatha Yoga Flow a fusion of Hatha and Slow Vinyasa focusing on strength, alignment & you. Postures are held in-between flow sequences giving the body time to ensure correct alignment. This builds strength within the body and also gives fluidity to the movement by using the breath. Lucie's aim is to share her passion for yoga and encourage as many people as possible to step onto the mat and start their yoga journey.
